Process of editing the photo
Here what im doing in this screenshot is changing the contrast. I chose to increase this in order to make the image more distinguishable in terms of the lighting as I believe that once I changed this it brightened up the image and gave objects such as the buildings and the trees more definition too them and made them stand out more.
In this screenshot I am changing the vibrancy and the saturation of the photo. I changed the vibrancy of the image in order to make some of the more muted and dull colours in the image stand out more. The reason I chose to also change the saturation is that I felt even after changing the vibrancy of the photo, it still seemed washed out and dull so I rose the saturation slightly in order to make all the colours in the image stand out and make the image less dull.
In this screenshot you can see that I am changing the curves of the image. I did this so i could change multiple aspects of the photo at once such as lighting and colour. The result of doing this was that I made the borders of the image slightly darker in order to draw the viewers attention to the centre off the image.

I am happy with the result i got after editing the photo. I believe the strengths of this image know is that it gives the image a lot more colour and definition to multiple objects around the image, overall giving the image more detail. I believe this still falls into the genre of my magazine which is a local Sheffield magazine as it shows off a key area of the Sheffield town centre.

The reason I made the edits to this photo were in order to have the model be the subject of the photo. I did this by increasing things such as vibrancy and contrast in order for washed out colours to stand out more and give the model more fidelity. I also lowered the brightness in order for the models face to be more noticeable.

What i wanted to achieve by editing this photo was i wanted to have the subject of the photo (my model) stand out more for the viewer. I did this by using tools such as vibrancy and contrast in order to have some of the more dull colours stand out and give the subject more definition.
